The MaxiZoom Reflector is a compact, high-performance reflector designed to maximize the output of Profoto’s flat-front flashes and point-source LEDs. Its precisely engineered profile and faceted, high-gloss interior create a punchy light with smooth, natural fall-off.
The MaxiZoom Reflector comes in a padded protective case equipped with a clip that easily attaches to any backpack for convenient transport.
Hard reflectors in photography
The name “hard reflectors” reveals two important characteristics of these light-shaping tools. As the name suggests – the reflectors themselves are hard, which makes them extremely durable. They are coated in high-quality metal, either with a silver or a white finish. Secondly, they tend to create a harder light with a more distinct fall-off than, for instance, a softbox or an umbrella. Creatively they help you alter the contrast and the mood of your images by creating a number of lighting effects from direct, focused light with a distinct fall-off to a wider, more even light spread across the image area.
